Hedging the truth
In this project, I examine how hedged constructions affect the evaluation of truth. This project is conducted in collaboration with Edmundo Kronmüller and Einat Shetreet.

Scalar implicatures
This project examines some of the key assumptions within the theory of scalar implicatures. In our first work, we demonstrate how scale types can account for scalar diversity and how this diversity can in fact coexist alongside scalar uniformity [LINK]. In a subsequent work, we propose that this scalar-type heterogeneity unravels a broader inferential mechanism underlying traditional scalar reasoning [LINK]. This project is conducted in collaboration with Mira Ariel and Einat Shetreet

Deception with GCIs
This project investigates the effect of deceptive contexts on responses associated with the derivation of scalar implicatures. By bridging insights from experimental philosophy on truth and lying with research on scalar implicatures in experimental pragmatics, this project offers a multidisciplinary perspective on both topics. The project is conducted in collaboration with Ben Weissman and Einat Shetreet.
