About

I am a Fulbright postdoctoral fellow, working with Professor Joshua Knobe in the Cognitive Science Program at Yale University. My research lies at the intersection of linguistics,

philosophy of language, and cognitive sciences. In my research, I study fundamental philosophical questions through their tangible expression in natural language. My core theme focuses on how truth is grounded in human thought. To do this, I investigate the use and development of truth predicates - a theme that highlights the intersubjective aspect of truth. I work on deceptive communication, through the investigation of subjective language, false implicatures, and dishonest hedging - a theme that highlights the subjective aspect of truth. I also study scalar implicatures, which illuminate the logical and objective aspect of truth. In my research, I employ both corpus-based analyses and experimentations.
