About

I am a Fulbright postdoctoral fellow, working with Professor Joshua Knobe at Yale University. My research lies at the intersection of linguistics, philosophy of language, and

cognitive sciences. I am very interested in the relationship between truth and meaning and how it shapes language processing. I investigate the use and development of truth predicates to better understand the meaning of truth; I work on deceptive communication to better understand how meaning is constructed when truth is undermined; I also study scalar implicatures, which illuminate deviations in the tight relationship between truth and meaning. In my research, I employ both corpus-based analyses and experimentation.
